Google has now released the Android 4.4 KitKat factory images for the Nexus 4, Nexus 7 and Nexus 10. If we follow the previous trend, Google has been always releasing the OTA updates first, which is followed by the releasing the factory images for the respective nexus devices. Not just for Google its been the same for all major Android smartphone manufacturers.

This time around it has been the opposite, It seems Google is letting eager android users have an early taste of the new KitKat OS by flashing the factory images themselves. If you are familiar with the the process of flashing and installing recovery images on your nexus device, then you can go ahead and download the Android 4.4 KitKat recovery images from the links provided below and flash them onto your respective nexus devices.

Note: Do not attempt to flash the Android 4.4 KitKat recovery images on your Nexus devices if your device’s bootloader is locked. If you do so then you will lose all your data. In case your Nexus device’s bootloader is unlocked you will be provided with an option to skip the data wiping and just install the update.
